Henry unleashes "Trap" (ft. Kyuhyun and Taemin) + mini album!

Make way because Henry is here to reclaim the hearts of fans with his solo debut this time!

In addition to the title track "Trap", his mini album also includes "1-4-3 (I Love You)" by his own composing team Noize Bank that describes the story of a guy who hasn't completely mastered the Korean language falling for a Korean girl(Henry is this about you?); "My Everything", a medium tempo R&B pop song; "Ready 2 Love", a self-composed song by Henry; "Holiday", an upbeat song that talks about wanting to escape when things don't seem to go your way; and "I Would", an emotional song (in English!) further emphasized by the piano melody ofYiruma.

To make his solo debut even more exciting, he's brought in his labelmates Kyuhyun and Taemin who both feature in "Trap". These two will also hop on stage for broadcast performances of the song starting with 'Music Bank' later tonight!

Taeyeon, who has been actively interacting with fans through her Instagram, goes all out to promote Girls’ Generation’s upcoming ‘2013 Girls’ Generation’s World Tour’.

Lee Byung Hun & Lee Min Jung will getting married this August !!!

It is official~ Actor Lee Byung Hun and actress Lee Min Jung are getting married this August !!     After rumors surfaced again today, the reps of both actors have confirmed that the couple have decided to get married later this year!   Due to Lee Byung Hun's busy schedule with his world promotional tour for his Hollywood film, 'G.I. Joe 2', the couple have set the date for months later in August. Super Junior's Kyuhyun Releases New Single “Love Dust”

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun continues to amaze people with his smooth vocals on his latest

single, “Love Dust.”

The gorgeous song is the 2nd lineup for the special project album of talented composer

 Hwang Sungjae. The Hwang Sungjae Project Album “Superhero” celebrates the 15th anniversary of the composer’s debut. The album will include a total of 10 songs which were recorded in the past by other famous artists. However, the songs will be remastered 

and recorded by new singers.

“Love Dust” was previously recorded by the Bubble Sisters in 2006. The composer says

that Kyuhyun maintains the original feeling of the song but that his version is “more

concise and warm.”

Without a doubt, Kyuhyun does indeed deliver a wonderful rendition of the song with his beautiful phrasing and flawless vocals. As with other solo recordings such as ”Late Autumn”, Kyuhyun once again shows us that he goes far beyond being a handsome face in a popular boy band. He is an extremely talented musician and a true artist.

The first single to be recorded for the project album was “Atlantis Princess” by Park Jung

Hyun, a song made famous by BOA. The next line up for the album is yet to be announced.

Sungha Jung Live in Penang 2013

Famous South Korean professional acoustic finger-style guitarist Sungha Jung will be coming to Malaysia once again for Sungha Jung Live in Penang 2013.

Sungha Jung is a South Korean professional acoustic fingerstyle guitarist who rose to fame worldwide through YouTube videos of him playing acoustic versions of songs by U2, Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, The Eagles and Extreme.  As of March-2013, his videos had gotten a total of over 650 million hits & more than 1.5 million YouTube subscribers. Sungha's video with the most views is the one which shows him playing the theme from "Pirates Of  The Caribbean". (>37 million views) As a child, he watched his father play the guitar and eventually picked it up at the age of nine. His talent was noticed when he would watch videos online and be able to play the music within a short time and without the original tabs.  In 2012, he did a collaboration with YG's 2NE1. They did two acoustic versions of 2NE1's hit songs "Lonely" and "I Love You". Later in 2012, he also was on stage with YG's and Big Bang's G-Dragon, on G-dragon's solo performance "That XX" Sungha released his debut album, "Perfect Blue" in 2011.  He released his second album, "Irony", on 21 September 2011 and his latest album, "The Duets" in 2012. The 16-year-old's first visit to Penang  was last year and it was a complete sold out concert but don't worry if you missed it because he's back again to live in Penang

Girls' Generation Tiffany adorable first pitch for LA Dodgers

Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany threw the ceremonial first pitch at the game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks which held on May 6 in Los Angeles. This marks the first appearance for a Girls’ Generation member at a major American sports event.

Sporting a LA Dodgers uniform and casual white jeans, the singer greeted the numerous fans with her bright smile who attended the game on this day. Unfortunately, Tiffany threw the ball way out of the strike zone, making another embarrassing pitch after Jessica’s epic pitch. But like a pro, she took the moment like a good sport, and gave an adorable smile.

2PM makes grand return with “Comeback When You Hear This Song” MV

The “beastly idol” 2PM is finally making a grand return to the local music scene with the release of their latest album ‘GROWN’ featuring the two title songs, “Comeback When You Hear This Song” and “All Day I Think of You”. This will be 2PM’s 3rd studio album after a 2 year hiatus and has thus drawn much attention from fans.

Released on May 6th, the new tracks are filled with the manly and mature transformation of the 2PM members. In addition, it was revealed that the 2PM members had personally taken to producing the album songs. 

Lee Junho was revealed to have participated in the production of “Back to Square One”, “Go Back”, and “Love Song”. Jun.K produced the songs “Game Over” and “Suddenly”. Chansung wrote the lyrics for “Coming Down”, while Taecyeon produced the rapping portion for “All Day I Think of You”, “I’m Sorry”, “Comeback When You Hear This Song”, “Just for Today”, “Coming Down” and “Go Back”.

Juniel appointed ambassador for teenager

The young and talented singer Juniel has been appointed as the honorary ambassador for teenagers for family month.

Juniel was appointed at the ‘2013 Young Adult Family Month Ceremony’. About 700 young adults and related group representatives were in attendance at the event to celebrate the “Family Month.” In addition to Juniel, Kim Tae Wook and Chae Si Ra couple was also appointed family ambassador.

Regarding her appointment, Juniel said, “I’m honored I′ve been appointed as an honorary teenage ambassador. I will do my best to do good works.”

2PM dress up in suits for comeback image teasers

The first set of teaser images for the highly anticipated 2PM’s local comeback have been released!

JYP Entertainment revealed the new teaser for 2PM’s third album titled, ‘Grown’. The image shows the 2PM members dressed smartly in suits and are standing on the rooftop of a skyrise building while exuding gloomy expressions.

2PM will return with two title tracks, “All Day I Think of You” and “Listen to This Song and Come Back”. The new tracks will be filled with the manly and mature transformation of the 2PM members.

T-ara N4 releases much-anticipated MVs for “Rural Life”

After much teasing, T-ara’s new unit group T-ara N4 finally unveiled the music video for debut title song, “Rural Life”!

T-ara N4 is releasing two versions of “Rural Life”; an electronic hip-hop version as well as a traditional version with traditional harmonies and instruments. The regular version is a funky and intense dance number produced by hitmaker Double Sidekick who also included touches of hip-hop in the song.

The traditional version of the song is integrated with Huimori beat of Korean traditional music. It was arranged by Korean classical musician Hwang Hojun who has arranged more than 400 well-known songs in the past.

The subunit group also worked with the same mastermind behind the international viral craze “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman”, Jo Soo-hyun, for their debut music video.

The drama version music video included cameo appearances by several stars, such as Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung, former baseball player Yang Joon Hyuk, politician Heo Kyung Young, producer Duble Sidekick, who produced the song, Kim Wan Sun, actor Jung Woon Taek as well as Choi Bool Am and Kim Su Mi, who starred in the original MBC drama, “Rural Life”.

The dance version music video is the work of Hong Wonki who had directed videos for INFINITE and Roy Kim before.

T-ara N4 is consists of members Jiyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin, and Areum. The name stands for “Brand New 4” and will reveal an edgier, sexier and more fashionable side of the girl group.

Psy achieves ‘perfect all-kill’ with “Gentleman” + sweeps iTunes chart

 

World sensation Psy has achieved a ‘perfect all-kill’ on the Korean music charts with its latest single “Gentleman” in addition to sweeping iTunes’ Top Singles chart in 38 countries.

Psy released his new song “Gentleman” to continue the “Gangnam Style” syndrome on April 12th in 119 countries. The song immediately achieved an all-kill status on real-time charts. The single also ranked first on the iChart on Instiz, certifying a ‘perfect all-kill’ on the chart.

Psy became the third artist to achieve the Instiz Chart All-Kill recognition for 2013 following Leessang and SISTAR19.

“Gentleman” also gained attention among foreign fans and swept the iTunes Chart. The single entered top 10 iTunes Single Chart in many Asian, European and South American countries, including topping the Vietnamese chart.
