They Make Fantastic Babies: The Moms Of Big Bang

Since their debut, the Big Bang guys have been showing off their mothers to fans.
It is well known that lead rapper TOP is the only Big Bang member who did not reside in the YG dormitories, opting instead to stay in his own home with his mother. TOP also reportedly has his mom as #1 on his speed dial, proving that the two really do have a close relationship.

Earlier this year a photo of the husky-voiced rapper with is mother was a hot topic of conversation across the internet. Many fans responded that the family resemblance indicates "good genes." The mother-son pair were also praised for their keen fashion sense and charismatic expressions.
TOP and his mother also guest blogged on Naver to reflect on their experiences during Big Bang's worldwide Alive Tour. TOP's mom came and stayed with her son in New York to spend his birthday with him and attend the show.
In her portion of the blog post she wrote that while at the concert she was touched by the fan response to her son and the other members of Big Bang. She said, "I was unexpectedly touched in New York City by my all-grown-up son's proud image," and continued, "My son's bright image on stage still remains in my heart."
G-Dragon and his mother also have a close relationship. In an old video from the early days of Big Bang, G-Dragon is seen at home with his mother eating a home-cooked meal and having a serious conversation.
She advises him to be on his best behavior, try to understand others, and reminds him to always be humble. GD responds, "You say the same things all the time. I will do better," indicating that the two of them often have these sorts of talks with each other.
Like TOP, soulful vocalist Taeyang has his mother set as number one on his speed dial and has also said that his most prized possession is the piano she gave him as a present. He also mentioned in an interview a few years ago that he loves to eat his mother's doenjang jjigae (a Korean stew made with soybean paste).
In a letter to her son, Taeyang's mom wrote, "Even though I can't always stand by you, every time I see you on stage with your awesome performances, I always feel thankful. I'm very thankful that you are mom's son."
However, out of all the Big Bang members, it is Taeyang who is regarded as the "mother" of the group. In an interview back in 2010 the members (including Taeyang himself) chose him has the the one to fill the "mother" role in group. This is not very surprising considering that over the years many stories have been shared about the relationship between the members - it was revealed that in the early days Taeyang was in charge of the group's laundry and once was very seriously upset by how small the washing machine was.
The five Big Bang members' moms are also close with one another. Ever since the group's debut, the moms have gotten together to support their sons any way they can.
In 2008, the five moms traveled to Japan together to attend the Big Bang Stand Up concert tour and often posed for pictures together while out and about sightseeing - the five even donned kimonos and took pictures together.
The five ladies appear as close as their sons are, but they also have a close bond with the other group members.
In a letter to her son, Seungri's mom also included a message for the other members, referring to them also as her sons. She ended the note with, "My son, I love you I love you I love you. And my Big Bang sons, I love you guys too! Fighting!"
