T-ara N4 releases much-anticipated MVs for “Rural Life”

After much teasing, T-ara’s new unit group T-ara N4 finally unveiled the music video for debut title song, “Rural Life”!


T-ara N4 is releasing two versions of “Rural Life”; an electronic hip-hop version as well as a traditional version with traditional harmonies and instruments. The regular version is a funky and intense dance number produced by hitmaker Double Sidekick who also included touches of hip-hop in the song.

The traditional version of the song is integrated with Huimori beat of Korean traditional music. It was arranged by Korean classical musician Hwang Hojun who has arranged more than 400 well-known songs in the past.

The subunit group also worked with the same mastermind behind the international viral craze “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman”, Jo Soo-hyun, for their debut music video.

The drama version music video included cameo appearances by several stars, such as Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung, former baseball player Yang Joon Hyuk, politician Heo Kyung Young, producer Duble Sidekick, who produced the song, Kim Wan Sun, actor Jung Woon Taek as well as Choi Bool Am and Kim Su Mi, who starred in the original MBC drama, “Rural Life”.

The dance version music video is the work of Hong Wonki who had directed videos for INFINITE and Roy Kim before.

T-ara N4 is consists of members Jiyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin, and Areum. The name stands for “Brand New 4” and will reveal an edgier, sexier and more fashionable side of the girl group.

Shinhwa Confirmed As The Final Line-Up Artist Group of 2013 Asia Super Showcase in Malaysia



Jointly organized by Marctensia Concerts and Universal Music Malaysia, and supported by Ministry of Tourism Malaysia and Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), the “Asia Super Showcase in Malaysia” is back again after its first successful run in December 2012!

The joint organizers officially announced the “2013 Asia Super Showcase in Malaysia” and will be bringing Malaysian fans a star-studded line-up: Girls’ Generation, AOA and the legendary Kpop group – Shinhwa!

Featuring an astounding line-up, this time around the "2013 Asia Super Showcase in Malaysia" is expected to attract over 17,000 spectators with around 4,000 foreign tourists and to create an estimated economic impact to Malaysia of over RM14million.  The “2013 Asia Super Showcase in Malaysia” is one of the promotional efforts to support the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia and Tourism Malaysia’s campaign - Visit Malaysia Year 2014(VMY 2014).
The “2013 Asia Super Showcase in Malaysia” will be happening on May 12, 2013 at the Stadium Merdeka, KL at 8pm. Tickets are priced at RM223, RM323 (Free Seating), RM353, RM453 (Free Standing) and VIP (Numbered Seating).

Formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2007, Girls' Generation is a South Korean girl group also referred to as SoShi or SNSD. They recently released their forth-Korean album, I Got A Boy, on January 1, 2013. Girls' Generation made their debut in Malaysia in March 2012 at KLCC, which attracted a massive number of fans. ‘Little Psy’ Hwang Min Woo parodies “Gentleman” ft. OFFROAD



Hwang Min Woo who made quite a splash as ‘Little Psy’ after mimicking Psy is coming back with a parody of Psy’s “Gentleman”!

The talented young entertainer has released a parody version of Psy’s latest hit single “Gentleman” featuring the group OFFROAD. He even recreates some of the hilarious scenes in the original video and brings smiles to the viewers with his overwhelming charisma.

Girl group T-ara's first sub-unit, T-ara N4 works with the director that directed Psy's music videos for 'Gangnam Style' and 'Gentleman'. The unit filmed the music video for 'Rural Life' for 4 days and 3 nights with director Jo Soohyun. The music video will have several surprise guest appearances.


T-ara N4 will make their debut with a hip-hop concept, a totally different from their past concepts. The  teaser of the music video will be first showed on Mnet M!Countdown in Taiwan which T-ara will be attending on the 25th while the music video and track itself will be revealed on the 29th in the afternoon.

2AM's Jo Kwon invites 140 disabled children to his animation film’s premiere


2AM’s Jo Kwon has invited disabled children to the premiere of animated film ‘Pinnochio: The Secret of Donkey Island’, to which he dubbed for.

On April 16th, premiere of animation ‘Pinnochio: The Secret of Donkey Island’ was held at CGV Yongsan branch, and Jo Kwon, who participated in dubbing, invited 140 disabled children to enjoy the film. He also spent meaningful time with them through photo session and Q&A event. 

Jo Kwon shared, “It was a very meaningful time for me, because I could spend a special time with children who are never losing their hope even in many difficult situations. I’d like to express great thanks to my fan club members who prepared this event with me.”

Meanwhile, Jo Kwon dubbed the voice behind the lovable character, Pinocchio in the film.

SHINee’s Taemin and A Pink’s Naeun to be the next ‘We Got Married’ couple


It has been reported that SHINee's Taemin and A Pink's Son Naeun will be joining as a new couple on the MBC series, 'We Got Married'.

After the reports of Kwanghee - Sunhwa couple leaving the show, Taemin and Son Naeun will reportedly be getting married on the virtual reality program to fill the place of the previous idol couple.

According to multiple broadcast industry insiders, “They began shooting for the show on April 17 at Jeju Island in a cafe from the movie 'Architecture 101'. Neither of the two idols have dating experience, and although this isn’t real, this will be their first relationship.”

Taemin and Na Eun will become the youngest couple in ‘We Got Married’ history.

CNBLUE holds successful first solo concert in Singapore



After holding a passionate live concert in TaiwanCNBLUE held its successful first solo concert in Singapore for their second leg of the ‘2013 World Tour – Blue Moon’.

Pop-rock quartet heated up the atmosphere at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on April 13th, getting the 6,500 cheering fans in the venue to jump along with them as they openened the concert with hits “Where You Are”, “Get Away” and “One Time”.

As songs from their ‘Re:BLUE’ album, which is currently largely popular in Singapore, the audience showed explosive cheers, singing along all of the songs. They also cheered for the performances of “I’m Sorry”, “Coffee Shop” and “Man Like Me” and “Lalala”.

During the show, Yonghwa remarked, “I will remember tonight as a very special memory. Thank you for waiting for us for such a long time.” Later on, Kang Minhyuk, and Lee Jung Shin also said their thanks to Singaporean fans in English.

Psy achieves ‘perfect all-kill’ with “Gentleman” + sweeps iTunes chart

World sensation Psy has achieved a ‘perfect all-kill’ on the Korean music charts with its latest single “Gentleman” in addition to sweeping iTunes’ Top Singles chart in 38 countries.

Psy released his new song “Gentleman” to continue the “Gangnam Style” syndrome on April 12th in 119 countries. The song immediately achieved an all-kill status on real-time charts. The single also ranked first on the iChart on Instiz, certifying a ‘perfect all-kill’ on the chart.

Psy became the third artist to achieve the Instiz Chart All-Kill recognition for 2013 following Leessang and SISTAR19.

“Gentleman” also gained attention among foreign fans and swept the iTunes Chart. The single entered top 10 iTunes Single Chart in many Asian, European and South American countries, including topping the Vietnamese chart.

Psy releases new single “Gentleman” achieves all-kill on charts

Korean pop artist Psy finally unveiled his much anticipated single, “Gentleman”!



On April 12th at 12:00 AM, Psy released his new song “Gentleman” to continue “Gangnam Style” syndrome in 119 countries at the same time through online music websites in Korea and through ‘iTunes’ abroad.

The lyric of “Gentleman” plays on words adding more fun. With unique rhymes and delightful refrain line, the catchy tune is the characteristic of this song. Psy wrote the lyrics himself and Yoo Geon Hyeong arranged the new song.

A representative of YG Entertainment stated, “Psy created lyrics that have wit and a rhyme, so that you can enjoy the song even if you do not understand the language.”

In addition, “Gentleman” immediately achieved an all-kill status on real-time charts, proving Psy overwhelming popularity. The song topped the charts including Bugs, MelOn, Olleh Music, Naver Music, Mnet, Daum Music, Soribada, Cyworld Music, and Monkey3.

New Dance Craze ‘Gwiyomi Gwi Gwi Gwi Gwiyomi'

After “Gangnam Style” and “Harlem Shake” taken over the world by storm, it seems like people are never going to get enough of the dancing craze as yet another dance move has gone viral on the web.
According to our source, the new dance craze, the “Kiyomi/Gwiyomi Player”, has recently become the latest web-viral sensation among Thai teenagers. “Gwiyomi” translated into English means someone who is cute hence the new dance craze literally means “cute player”.
The internet meme is originated from Korean boy band Btob’s member Jung Ilhoon who created a series of hand movements accompanying the song “Kiyomi Song”. The song was sung by Korean female artist Hari which describes the love of a girl and a boy.
The dance is also called as “1+1=Gwiyomi” and many Kpop stars including EXO K’s Sehun, Miss A’s Suzy, Girls’ Generation’s Soo Young, Infinite’s Sung Kyu, SISTAR’s Soyou and more have jumped into the trend and garnered a lot of attention from the teenage fans especially overseas fans.
Many have uploaded videos of themselves doing the 50-second dance routine on the YouTube social network and a Thai netizen commented“Goodbye Harlem Shake, Hello Kiyomi.” Another poster wrote “It’s the new Gangnam Style.”

Song Hye Kyo Confesses she Loves Big Bang, 'Joins a Long List of Fans'

Actress Song Hye Kyo has confessed her love for Big Bang, adding to what is already a long list of female celebrities who have declared their fandom for Big Bang.
At a public interview conducted following the finale of her recent SBS drama, "That Winter, the Wind Blows," Song Hye Kyo revealed that her favorite artist is Big Bang.
"I receive a lot of positive energy from listening to their music. The sense of freedom present in their songs really strikes a chord with me."
Internet users who have heard about Song Hye Kyo's love sickness for Big Bang commented, "Actresses' favorite, Big Bang!" and "A little jealous right now, just a little."
Recently, other female stars such as Han Ga In, Go Hyun Jung and child acress Kim Yoo Jung have also publicly announced their adoration for Big Bang.

G-Dragon kicks off Japanese leg of his world tour



Big Bang’s G-Dragon successfully kicked off the overseas phase of his world tour.

After finishing Seoul concerts on March 30th and 31st, G-Dragon went to Fukuoka to start the Japan leg of his ‘One of a Kind’ tour. Though it was even hard to stand still in the rain and harsh winds, a great number of fans formed long lines in front of the venue.

A car chase scene was played prior to G-Dragon's appearance, and G-Dragon appeared on the stage in a translucent glass car. After fully showing himself on stage, he opened up the show by his new song, “MichiGO”.

In addition, he sang “Heart Breaker”, “One of a Kind”, “Missing You” and many more. Also, Taeyang from Big Bang had appeared to support his stage and showed powerful performances.

Embarking on his first solo world tour, G-Dragon is planning to visit 13 cities across 8 countries and hold 26 concerts through the end of June. He is also set to appear in Psy’s ‘Happening’ concert to be held on April 13th.

CNBLUE will be releasing their Japan Single 'Blind Love' on April 24 =]



This time, their single will include three songs including, "Blind Love", "With your Eyes" and "Greedy Man." The first two songs were self composed by Lee Jong Hyun and "Greedy Man" by Jung Yong Hwa. Behind the scenes for the music video making as well as the completed music video will also be added to the single as well as a limited edition single.Even before the single released, the single ranked number 1 on the Japan HMV charts for reservations, gaining much attention.
On the other hand, CNBLUE BLUE MOON WORLD TOUR 2013 will  starting in Taiwan.They will be the first Korean band to hold a world tour. This tour is to celebrate their album that was released this past January called, Re:Blue.Their title song from this album titled, "I'm Sorry," gained much attention and ranked high on various music charts. They even ranked number 1 on the U.S. Billboard World Albums chart as well, showing their international fame.The group stated, "Making it to the top of these foreign charts has given us the hope to continue on with our dreams.
